Three Letter Word

If you look up the word try in the dictionary you will see that it says..to attempt to do or accomplish, therefore when I say I try means I am attempting to do something.

I have tried to do everything I can to make things work in life, but I have come to the conclusion that the word try is a word that is actually bigger than it looks. Who would have thought that a three letter word would take so much work.

I once went to church and a pastor said, try means to attempt, no one attempts, you do it or you don't. He also stated that to use the word try is just an excuse to give up.

So when I say I am tired of trying does it mean that I never really put my full effort into it. No I don't think that is right, sometimes it is not up to just one individual.

I guess what I am saying is that try is not just an excuse it is a three letter word that applies to everyone.

When a couple is having problems they try, when people are out looking for a job they are trying.

Try is not an excuse for failure, it is a strive to succeed.
