The Weekend Off Together

Angela and I finally got another weekend off together, so I planned a trip to Cumberland Falls. Everything went as I planned, till we got to the falls and the batteries I had just bought did not want to work in my camera. So, Angela and I went into the gift shop and bought some more batteries. We start our walk to the falls and I started taking pictures, our first stop was at the top of the falls.

Then we walked down and got a great view of the falls. If you look in the lower left corner you can see where people have trashed the park. Thankfully they are having a clean up day in the near future.

In the picture below, when there is a full moon there is a moonbow that will appear in the mist.

Further down the trail there was another look out point and I took this picture, one of my favorites.

I took Angela down a trail that leads to a beach, but we stopped and did a little climbing before getting there.

We finnaly get down to where the beach is and it is covered with logs, and driftwood. The wood is from where there was a storm that had recently come through Cumberland falls.

This was one of the best weekends we were able to have in a while.
