My mom and Greg have two dogs, one is named Sugar and the other is named Hugs. They are both pretty great dogs, but Hugs is more of my favorite. My step dad has worked with Hugs to teach her many tricks. He has taught her to sit, lay, roll over, sit pretty, fetch, and she will play dead.
When Greg tells Hugs to sit pretty she sits on her hind legs with her front paws in the air in front of her. The special fetch I found rather amusing, Greg would tell hugs, go play with your toy, she will go to her toy box and get a stuffed bear. Then she will take the toy and shake it around in her teeth while letting out a
grrrrrrrr sound. Greg can tell Hugs to put her toy up and she will put it back in the toy box.
While we were visiting I got to record Hugs playing dead. My mom or Greg can tell Hugs to sit, then they will say bang and she will fall over on her side and stay like that
until one of them say up.
Like I said earlier in the post, I did get Hugs playing dead on video I just have to get it uploaded and add it to this blog.
